As good as it gets for airport food :) But seriously, had I read these horrid reviews I might have been scared away. I'm a stickler for quality, nutritious food and this food was good. We had the gluten free chili as well as the chicken and rice soup, also gluten free and were pleased. Yay for a place that serves organic, gluten free food at the airport! Finally!

I'll give it the 2nd star only because they offer healthier alternatives. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla (the menu and the quesadilla I got are in pictures). I only had egg and spinach on it. I'm not sure why it wasn't right. I didn't ask for anything different. I also ordered the blueberry scone and a coffee. I loved the softness of the scone, however it tasted like I was eating flour. Not much taste. The coffee was very gritty tasting. The service of this place was ridiculously slow.

They sell old salads! Became very very ill after eating.

This place sucks. High prices, crap food, they got my order wrong in a way so stupid that it makes me wonder if the staff is literate. No one even cared when I asked for them to fix it. Oh and it took ten minutes to churn out the abomination I had to eat for breakfast. $7 to learn that lesson, not eating here again. I miss the bagel place that used to be here

typical airport food... not that great, and overpriced. albeit, SLC overpriced is nothing compared to my typical SF or NY overpriced (JFK prices are probably double this). i got a breakfast sandwich here, and the bread was not that fresh, and there was not enough bacon and it was a bit soggy. the egg was also not that fresh, and portions were small.

Just had a great breakfast croissant here...not sure why there are a ton of negative reviews here

Note sure why the reviews are bad other than the poor traffic flow and confusion behind the counter. The food was suprisingly good and there were many healthy options which is appreicate in the airport. Located right across from Gate B3.

I'm not sure why these reviews are so bad, maybe I just got them on a good night! The lady at the counter was helpful, friendly, proactive and upbeat, they make their salads fresh everyday and I really enjoyed my homemade soup with gluten free bread (a rarity at most transportation hubs i find!). Ok so it's the airport and my expectations weren't high but I was really happy with the experience.

A new addition thanks to the upgrades to the Salt Lake City Airport shops, but sadly it is not a good addition. I have eaten here twice and both times the food service is slow, the staff appear to be on autopilot and the food is marginal.

We had two hours to burn so we made the long walk to cross the airport to reach this little gem. Glad we did. High quality food and ingredients, relative to other options at the airport. The grilled cheese was higher end than I had expected. Actually worthy of the price being asked for it. The cook prepared it and brought it out to us when it was ready. Which took about 5-8 minutes. It was worth the wait to have it done right. The bowl of chilly was also very good.

I'm not a fan of the grab-it-yourself pastry case, as there's no one around to ensure people actually use the tissues to grab their portion. During my visit, a small child walked up and opened the door themselves as an absent-minded parent took a phone call. I don't want a snot glaze on my croissant, thanks. That said, prices are on par with any other airport stop (expect to spend $10+ per person before a drink). The seating is a draw, as it's the only food stall in this hall that has any tables and chairs, but the service is limited and apathetic. LIFE HACK: Grab a cup of tomato soup here ($5+ for a small cup) then go next door for the mini cheese-stuffed pretzel bites at Auntie Anne's. Use the pretzels as croutons to complete your soup experience. Because for some reason, this bakery doesn't give you a slice of bread or a roll of any sort with your hot soup.

Not sure why this company thinks self service pastries at an airport is a good idea. I mean I'm already carrying too much stuff because it costs too much to check bags. Now you expect me to have two free hands to be able to open the pastry case and pick out what I want to eat. On top of that, the strawberry croissant wasn't very good.

Almost $17.00 for a salad and a small bottle of water. Stupid, total airport gauging, don't care if the lettuce is organic, that's ridiculous. Staff is terrible, apathetic and slow. I'm glad there's a healthy option but wow they make it painful. They got 2 starts because the salad was fresh and tasty. Still wasn't worth what they were charging, I'll hit the Wendy's in the same terminal next time.

Opens early on concourse 2 next to gate B4. Breakfast, lunch and dinner Bagels, juices and sandwiches. If you're flying United in the morning your best choice. Of course they have tea and coffee. Since it is a bakery they have muffins omelettes too.

I purchased the most expensive muffins of my life here & was expecting the quality to match the price. Not only was I disappointed, I was disgusted! I honestly don't even know how to adequately describe what they are passing off as a muffin. It reminded me of a bready cake that had sat out for a week, it was awful! I choked most of it down because I was starving, but my husband took one bite & threw his away. If they can't even bake a decent muffin, I can't even imagine what any of their more technical foods would taste like & I don't ever intend to find out!

Looks are deceiving!!! This place is completely over priced and the food looks like it might be worth it but it's not. Underwhelming flavor and only warmed not hot. The packaging is not convenient for travelers. The staff is horrible. Unfriendly and cold. There is a young employee there who was rude and stone faced regardless of the customer's friendly nature. No concept of friendly customer service. Your money is better spent further in the B terminal at Poppeye's or the nice sit down restaurant I think it was called Cat's Kitchen. Don't waste your money at this awful place.

Horrible experience- got their salad and the lettuce was slimy and wilted- awful and not edible and salmon was fishy, hard- also could not eat it....unfortunately two terminals away and about to board a flight or I would go back and insist on a refund......VERY DISAPPOINTING - AVOID.

$23.36 for a breakfast quesadilla, egg muffin, and two coffees seemed high - even for an airport - but the coffee was so watery and tasteless we had to return it to the cashier for a refund. The muffin was okay but the quesadilla, despite it's promising list of ingredients, was sparse and tasteless. I'd advise everyone to walk to Terminal A where there's a much wider selection of vendors - including Starbucks! SHAME on management for their sub-standard practices!!!

First off, let me start by saying how hungry I just was. You could've fed me week old chicken and I probably would've eaten it. That being said, I didn't finish my meal at "French" Meadow Cafe. Granted, it's a small airport cafe, so I wasn't expecting much to begin with. When I got in line, the employees were busy cleaning the windows showing the food. That's all well and good, except me and the three people behind me waited 7 minutes until they'd take our orders because no one thought to step away to help their customers. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla guessing that it'd be the fastest to make and really filling. The speed was fine, the quality was extremely low. It was like eating snot. How do I know? Don't ask-but I know. Besides the extremely low quality breakfast food, it was dirty. Yes, I know they were cleaning, and yes I know I was complaining about that, but they either need to learn how to delegate or hire more staff. I didn't feel comfortable eating on the tables and I'm not sure when the last time anyone there washed their hands The worst of it all was the price. Way too expensive for snot. My body doesn't even charge to make that! Star Distribution : 1/4 for the nice name, 1/2 for timeliness, 1/4 because I haven't gotten food poisoning...yet... My advice : if you're on the run but are about to go into a diabetic coma if you don't eat, I suggest trying the CSNBC convenience store right across the way from the awful cafe. That way you can get a power bar and water for half the price! Woo!
